Killswitch Engage has a new record coming in 2019, while Parkway Drive are still out on the road supporting their 2018 effort Reverence. And, there are rumors that the duo metalcore behemoths might be touring together next spring.
The PRP noticed both bands were just recently announced to play the 2019 version of the So What Music Festival on April 28 in Texas, which is in addition to their appearance at Ufest in Arizona on April 20. So the makings of U.S. tour are certainly there – both are playing major festivals a reasonable distance geographically and time-wise apart.
Keep an eye out. Killswitch Engage revealed back in September that they had 21 songs tracked, with vocalist Jesse Leach being done with about half of them. So maybe, if the tour happens, it'll be right around the time new record comes out.
Oh, did I mention ex-vocalist Howard Jones is going to make an appearance on the record? Just in case you needed one more reason to be stoked.
