Sepultura has announced previously that there would be a new record in 2016 and that new music was absolutely coming together. Now the next piece of the puzzle has fallen into place – Jens Bogren will be producing the effort! So sayeth the band via Ihsahn, anyway.
“A quick message for those who are interested in Sepultura‘s new album: as you know, we are finishing the songwriting process for the follow-up to 2013’s “The Mediator Between Head And Hands Must Be The Heart” album. So far we can tell you guys that we’ll record it in Sweden and Jens Bogren will be the producer.

Bogren and Sepultura have never worked together before, but with Bogren's impressive resume that spans bands like Opeth, Katatonia, Amon Amarth, Soilwork, Ihsahn, and a whole fuckton of others, it might be safe to say that new Sepultura stands a very real chance of being awesome?
