Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash recently sat down with Rolling Stone to discuss the band's recent reunion tour and answer questions about his career.
Of course the potential for new Guns N' Roses music came up and Slash says he's just not going to answer the question. Which is certainly better than a hard "no" on the subject.
Axl said you and Duff might play on new Guns material. True?
I think probably the best way to look at is, if something happens, then it happens. There you go.Specifically, he said he was playing you songs, and that you might end up on it.
Yeah. You know what? I’m not lighting that fuse.
Slash also talks a little bit about the death of Scott Weiland and his memories of doing Velvet Revolver. He says he has no positive memories of doing the band, and while it was cool to write some good music, the band just wasn't fun.
You had a hard time with him, but how did you react to Scott Weiland’s death?
As crazed as that whole period was, I was still shocked to hear about Scott. But yeah, Velvet Revolver was no fun. I have nothing positive to say about that experience except that we did write some cool stuff.
