Sleep Token has wiped their Instagram account completely clean and changed their bio to read "Nothing lasts forever." The band's Facebook account and website are still up, and all their tour dates appear to still be a go, so who knows what's going on.
Maybe there's more new material coming and "Nothing lasts forever" is a nod to that? Which would make sense considering Sleep Token just rolled out a bunch of new masks, and you know what that means in the world of bands like Ghost and Slipknot – new era, new music.
Loudwire notes that one other explanation would be that someone allegedly found and shared the birth certificate of Sleep Token member III. I'm really hoping that isn't the case, as frankly that's a huge invasion of privacy and fucking psychotic beyond words. It's also weird that a birth certificate would confirm a person's membership in a band unless it literally said Sleep Token on it, but either way – don't post shit like that online. Especially when it comes to a band that clearly values anonymity.
