Spiritbox is having a pretty big week. The band has officially welcomed touring bassist Josh Gilbert (ex-As I Lay Dying) into Spiritbox as a full time member, replacing Bill Crook who left in 2022. Spiritbox originally published the above photo, and confirmed that Gilbert is a permanent member of the band in a comment to a fan.
As if that wasn't enough, Spiritbox also debuted a new song called "The Void" on tour, as well as a cover of No Doubt's 2001 track "Hella Good." The song isn't too surprising given Spiritbox vocalist Courtney LaPlante recently said the band has new material coming in the not-too-distant future.
Spiritbox is currently out on the road with After The Burial and Intervals for their first-ever headlining tour. Spiritbox was also slated to tour with Falling In Reverse later this year, but that didn't pan out due to some controversy. Get tickets for the Spiritbox, After The Burial, and Intervals dates here.
