It's no secret we think this new FOX reality show with the Osbourne family is going to be really stupid. Thankfully, some Fox affilliate in Panama City, FL agrees with us and is sparing their viewers the pain and suffering of sitting through this sorry excuse for a TV show opting instead to air reruns of the Simpsons. The general manager of the station, David Cavileer the following comments:
"I just felt it was not keeping with community standards," he said . "This is more of an MTV thing," Cavileer added. "They are reporting it to be a variety show. There is worse stuff than this out there. This show in my market does not serve my public in Panama City. I did not feel it was appropriate."
I can't agree with you more Mr. Cavileer. What the Osbournes are trying to do is really inappropriate and I applaud your effort to save your viewers' brain cells. Oh and here is the best part of the article:
Cavileer has not viewed a full episode of the program but made the decision after watching a six-minute preview.
This man needs a promotion to Fox headquaters!
