The nu-metal revival is in full force. Tetrarch have signed a "lucrative" (according to the press release) worldwide deal with Napalm Records. They will be releasing their second full-length, Unstable, later this year. It’s been three years since their 2017 debut album “Freak” dropped and gave us the first taste of these incredibly talented metal fledglings.
Their latest single “I’m Not Right” amplifies the band’s blend of intense metalcore riffs and driving drums with the dark vibes and haunting choruses of hooky modern metal, and a distinctive techy edge, while harkening back to a time in the late 90s when backwards red baseball caps were all the rage.
The video shows a young girl being in school, giving us that extra dimension of emotional rage to ensure we really feel and connect to every aspect of the song.

Lead guitarist Diamond Rowe commented on the signing saying “None of us in Tetrarch have ever been shy about the goals that we have for this band. Therefore, it is no secret that since the beginning we have always made our goal to become one of the biggest modern metal bands of this generation. We are extremely excited to have found a partner for this journey with Napalm Records, and it is very apparent that they believe in us to the same degree. They are ready and willing to work with us however necessary to take Tetrarch to the top. We look forward to continuing this ride with them.”
Originally formed in Atlanta, the quartet have since relocated LA. They are fast proving themselves to have the potential to be a major metal influence, both within our genre and in the mainstream. Their previous album, “Freak” reached strong positions on several iTunes charts – debuting within the Top 200 chart, at #3 on the metal charts and #17 on the rock charts. Their lead single, “Freak,” also garnered huge response from Sirius XM Octane, and hit Top 50 on the Active Rock charts.
Needless to say, we have a lot to look forward to with this band and this new release. In the meantime, you can stream their latest music HERE.
