Nearly three years ago, The Ghost Inside was involved in a fatal bus crash that killed two drivers and severely injured the band to the point where they're still undergoing treatments and surgeries as a result.
While the band wanted to play Warped Tour 2017 or this year's final Warped Tour, but unfortunately their injuries have not healed to a point where they feel confident enough to tour. They've been doing better in recent times though, especially drummer Andrew Tkaczyk, who released an EP of djenty instrumental songs.
Now The Ghost Inside has announced they'll be holding a live Q&A session for this Sunday that'll double as a celebration of their first album Fury And The Fallen Ones. In their statement, The Ghost Inside says they want to "take the opportunity to open up about where we’ve been, where we’re at… and where we’re going." So that last part sounds pretty promising, huh?
[This] Sunday, April 15, is the 10th birthday of our first album Fury and the Fallen Ones. We thought the best way to celebrate was for the 5 of us to get together and throw a party, and to invite all of you to be a part of it. For the first time in 2 1/2 years, we are going to be together not just as guys recovering from our accident, but as The Ghost Inside, streaming on Facebook Live and taking your questions.
We want to celebrate a decade of sharing music with all of you, and take the opportunity to open up about where we've been, where we're at….and where we’re going.
So bake a cake, frost it blue and gold, and meet us on Facebook Sunday April 15 at 4 PM EST, 1 PM PST.
I'm sure we'll be telling you all about this one, and to the band – y'all better throw a killer party for yourselves. You deserve it!
