Killer Be Killed, the group consisting of Dillinger Escape Plan frontman Greg Puciato , Soulfly frontman Max Cavalera, Mastodon bassist Troy Sanders and ex-The Mars Volta drummer Dave Elitch, has been confirmed by Cavalera to have not been a one-off project! According to the man himself in a recent interview with Metal Hammer, a new album is coming in 2016.
“There’s another Killer Be Killed record coming next year, and more Cavalera Conspiracy stuff in the future. At this point I’m just letting it roll. Whatever happens will happen – that’s my attitude. I’m not forcing anything. If it happens, great; if not then it’s still okay.”
No word on if the album has been written yet or if there are just plans to do one next year, but still. Really exciting stuff! Elitch has been sporadically with the group lately too since he's got prior commitments with Antemasque, though I would assume he'll play on the record.
