Legendary industrial black metal band Thorns is finally preparing their long-awaited sophomore album. According to the Slagmaur Instagram account, a band that frequently collaborates with Thorns' mastermind Snorre Ruch, vocals for the next Thorns record are set to be recorded this month. Nothing else is known at this time, but hey – new Thorns finally!
"All the figures and the demons from the band thank you for the audience record at Prophecy. Slagmaur is looking forward to taking over England's cold shores next weekend before the band will complete the vocals on the new Thorns album and their own. Then there will be a dark invasion in Belgium at the Unholy Congretion.

Thorns eternally has a place within the Norwegian black metal conversation. Thorns three demos between 1991 and 1992, and then made their impact in 1999 on a split with Emperor, followed by their legendary 2001 self-titled debut album.
