South Carolina's THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD has posted a new song from the band's forthcoming record on the official THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD MySpace page. Titled "Failure In The Flesh," the song will be the lead track for the band's new record 'Malice,' which is due out August 21 through Prosthetic Records. Exclusive pre-order CD/t-shirt packages are now also available at Prosthetic Records.com.
Recorded with Erik Rutan (Goatwhore, Cannibal Corpse, Vital Remains), 'Malice' marks the debut of vocalist Nate Johnson (ex-Premonitions of War, ex-Deadwater Drowning) and is the follow-up to 2005's Prosthetic Records debut, 'Bloodlust.'
THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD is starting a North American run throughout June this evening in Philadelphia, serving as direct support to The Red Chord, along with Despised Icon, All Shall Perish and See You Next Tuesday. Having just returned from the band's first trip to Europe, alongside Ion Dissonance and Dead To Fall, guitarist Justin Longshore said, "The shows have been awesome and we've made a lot of friends over here in Europe. It's been a blast, but I can definitely say everyone is ready to go back home, have a few days off, and then go right back out for the Red Chord tour. Plus, we really miss shitty U.S. fast food joints.”
