In 2016, Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross wrote the song "Juno" for the Visions of Harmony film, scored Before the Flood with Gustavo Santaolalla and Mogwai, and scored Patriots Day. Oh, and then Ross joined Nine Inch Nails and released the Not The Actual Events EP in December. So naturally, it's time for the duo to get back to work, right?
According to The New York Times, Reznor & Ross, who I guess we can refer to as Nine Inch Nails from here on out, will be scoring Ken Burns' upcoming The Vietnam War documentary. The documentary is 10 parts and 18 hours total, and NIN wrote over 2 hours worth of music for the series. The music includes re-worked NIN songs, re-worked tracks from The Social Network and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, and some contributions from Yo-Yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble.
Oh, and a new Nine Inch Nails LP is rumored to be out this year too. What I'm getting at is that I feel like we'r going to be posting a ton of new Reznor & Ross/NIN material throughout 2017.
