Former Megadeth bassist David Ellefson has reemerged on social media, a few months after his big scandal.
Ellefson was fired from Megadeth this May after text exchanges and explicit FaceTime videos were posted online between Ellefson and a Dutch woman. Ellefson said at the time he plans to charge the person responsible for posting what he deems "revenge pornography" online, and that he's also filing a defamation lawsuit against the person. Ellefson has since been removed from the new Megadeth album, and has been replaced by a mystery bassist.
Despite all this, it's clearly not the last we've heard from Ellefson. The bassist has broken his social media silence to post photos of something called The Lucid, and with the date of September 8.
No word on who's involved in the band or what to expect on September 8, but we'll find out soon enough!
