Rob here, speaking to you from the confines of my hotel room in LA that has extremely shitty internet service. It's been a bit difficult to update the news section this week seeing as though we were in Vegas and now in LA and on top of that the server was taking a giant fart on us (we're upgrading to a much better server as we speak). But I've been keeping up with some of the latest metal headlines and compiled a little list of some cool news I found on some other sites. Did I miss anything?
Holy shit, HIGH ON FIRE posted a new track here, called "Frost Hammer", our first taste from their forthcoming album, Snakes for the Divine, out February 23rd. I highly doubt you will be disappointed with what you hear.
Unless you are living under a rock, you know that Mark McGuire admitted to using steroids yesterday. Some writer over at the MTV Newsroom thought it would be cute to write an article speculating on who in rock is on steroids. Greg Puciato, one of the people mentioned was not amused and I don't blame him. Very sloppy "journalism" from MTV.
A few months ago Frank was invited to help shoot the upcoming Acacia Strain DVD, The Most Known Unknown. That DVD is finally coming out according to our brosefs over at MetalSucks.
Looks like SODOM is adding a few dates on top of their appearance at the Maryland Deathfest adding May 26th in LA at the House of Blues and May 28th at the Gramercy in NYC.
