Just announced: William Shatner will be receiving the Honorary Headbanger Award at this year's Revolver Golden Gods Awards. From a pure promotional stand point, this makes sense. We learned a few moths ago that Shatner is making a rock record, so he's using the awards platform to promote his new album, and Revolver will use his name to gather a bit of extra press for metal's only award show in the United States. While on the black carpet, we had the honor of interviewing last year's honoree, Robert Englund, so I'm extra psyched at the possibilty of getting some face time the Shat.
