Alice Cooper guitarist Nita Strauss is a talent, that's for certain, and she's looking to expand her wings. Nita is launching a new band called We Start Wars, and you may notice from the promo photo and headline that the band is missing something – d00dz
"I've been wanting to be in this exact band since I started playing guitar" says Strauss. "And after over a year of putting this together and auditioning musicians, finally ended up with an amazingly talented, hard-working and driven group of girls. I truly couldn't be more proud of how these songs are coming out."
The band's lineup consists of Nita on guitar, Alicia Vigil on bass, Shauna "Seana" Lisse on vocals, Nicole Papastavrou on guitar, Katt Scarlett on the keys and Lindsay Martin on drums.
The band is making their live debut on May 25th at the Whiskey A Go Go in West Hollywood. We will let you know when new music surfaces from this new group. For now, you can follow the band on Facebook.
