SiriusXM wants to make sure you don't run out of things to listen to, while laying low, and self-isolating to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The satellite radio giant has announced all 300 channels of its premium online streaming service will be available for free through May 15th.
For hard rock and metal fans that includes the heavy metal channel Liquid Metal, the hard rock channel Octone, the classic metal channel Ozzy's Boneyard, Hair Nation, 90s/00s hard rock station Turbo, alt-rock station Lithium and a bunch more.
Of course, there is also the Howard Stern show and tons of talk programming like Eddie Trunk's Trunk Nation on Volume.
You can sign up for free, no credit card required at siriusxm.com/offers/free-listen or by downloading the mobile app. View the channel lineup here.
SiriusXM CEO Jim Meyer said in a statement, “With so many people asked to stay at home, we are making our full streaming lineup of music, entertainment, news and information easily accessible to everyone. In the days ahead, we hope it’s a valuable source of information or diversion, a generous mix of fresh live content, and a source of companionship that comes from the hosts on our many shows and channels. And there was no better way to launch the Stream Free content than with Howard this morning.”
