Wildfires are currently ravaging Ventura County in California, burning up about 65,000 acres of land and endangering more than 12,000 structures according to the New York Times. The fires are not currently contained and are threatening tons more acres and structures, including the home of Zakk Wylde.
Wylde recently sat down for an interview with Q104.3 when he learned of the fires and of the danger to his home. In the video below, Wylde was asked what he was doing this weekend when he said that he hoped he would be going back home.
"Well, hopefully we're heading back home to California," Wylde responded, "and have a house to go to…at the rate [the wildfire is] going."
We wish all the victims and those in danger from the fires all the best at this time.
