KORN's Brian "Head" Welch Responds To Backlash For Appearing on Gov. Mike Huckabee's Show

Mike Huckabee and Brian Head Welch of Korn

Even putting politics aside, "cool" is not a word that is used to describe Mike Huckabee. Huckabee, the former governor of Arkansas, now hosts a talk show on a Christian-based TV network, TBN and recently Brian "Head" Welch appeared on his show, and went as far as to jam on the Korn hit "Blind" with Huckabee. While Welch was just there to promote his new documentary about recovery, Loud Krazy Love, he was not expecting the backlash online for the appearance.

Welch spoke on the matter on his Instagram page, writing that he and Huckabee "may agree or disagree on certain social issues; I don't know. I've never talked to him about politics, and I don't follow politics. People can say what they want about me jamming with the Gov, but this man has been nothing but humble and extremely kind to me and my daughter. Thank you @govmikehuckabee we had a blast!"

Something Welch and Huckabee certainly can agree on is religious ideology, as Welch is a born again Christian and Huckabee is a registered minister. If you missed the original appearance, here it is:
