SLIPKNOT & KORN Banned at U.S. Department of Defense Command Post

Also, Creed, Nickelback and Smashmouth.

Also, Creed, Nickelback and Smashmouth.

One commanding officer has had enough. And he doesn't have to take it anymore.

Metal Insider noticed on Twitter that US Marine Geoffrey Ingersoll posted a memorandum on Twitter that noted his command post of the U.S. Department of Defense has a new list of banned music by the Captain in Command. And the Captain has heard enough Nickelback, Smashmoth, Creed (we're with you)… Korn and Slipknot?!

The subject is "Banned Playing of Terrible 'Rock Groups'," with rock groups in quotes… oh the shade. I always had a warm place in my heart for Korn, and have no qualms about my love for Slipknot, but I can't imagine having to listen to those other bands. I guess I'm saying, I understand.
