Jack Black and Jack White – two artists who somehow have yet to collaborate on anything… until now! Jack Black recently revealed that he and (presumably) his Tenacious D bandmate, Kyle Gass, recorded with White.
It all started with an Instagram post where the D joked they hired a new merch guy, who was White.
Then, at a recent Nashville concert, Black announced from the stage that the duo had been jamming with the White Stripes frontman recently, “Jack White,” Black said, “we went over to his house today and recorded a brand new song.”
Black noted the collaboration would be released in the near future on White's Third Man Records.
We're very curious as to how this sounds.
