According to Channel News Asia, the band's vocalist, Riefian Fajarsyah, posted a brief update to Instagram noting his wife and two band members are still missing, and two had passed away:
"Andi, Herman and Ujang have not been found, please pray for them. Please pray also that my wife will be found soon. Please pray also for Bani and Oki (who passed away)." he said as he wiped away tears.
While Seventeen is nowhere near a metal band, the concert experience is something all music fans share, and ultimately always should feel like a safe space. Our deepest condolences to the band and everybody affected by this natural disaster.
