Is the identity of the frontman of Ghost still a mystery? There has been plenty of speculation the last few years that the frontman and mastermind of the band is Tobias Forge. Sure, Ghost had Papa Emeritus perform on the first album and Papa Emeritus II on the second, but anybody with ears can tell it's the same singer and the Pope succession was merely a theatrical ploy.
We might have gotten our best confirmation yet of the identity of Papa, as this weekend Behemoth frontman Nergal posted the above photo to Instagram with the caption ""If you have ghosts… U have everything.)" That's of course a line from the Roky Erickson song "If You Have Ghosts" which Ghost covered last year.
The Instagram photo has since been removed giving further credence to the idea that it's really Tobias.
