Slayer just sent out a press release revealing the cover of their next album, Repentless. Here it is, click for hi-res:
Brazilian artist Marcelo Vasco collaborated with Kerry King and Tom Araya on the layout.
I can't imagine Christians will be too pleased with this cover, but I guess we'll find out. Overall, I think it's a really well-done cover. The artwork seems way more legit than what they put out for Christ Illusion, which looked like a junior high school collage, or the overly simplistic cover to World Painted Blood. Surely, this will offend some Christians.
