The heavy metal face tattoo club includes such illustrious members as Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, Five Finger Death Punch frontman Ivan Moody, Korn's Fieldy and Head, Chris Fronzak and of course Mastodon's Brent Hinds. But Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor will not be joining those ranks any time soon.
Taylor made the revelation to GQ Magazine, when they asked Corey if he would ever consider a face tattoo during a recent video where the Slipknot frontman broke down all his ink.
Taylor responded “Never. I get it, you know. A face tattoo is no different than a nipple piercing from 20 years ago — 30 years ago anyway. You end up looking like a shitty notebook from high school.”
I think some face tattoos can be done tastefully, but overall, they are not for me. It seems like Taylor agrees with me. To each their own, I guess. Watch the full video below.
