Artist Mariusz Lewandowski has passed away. Lewandowski is perhaps best known for his painting that adorns the cover of Bell Witch's Mirror Reaper, but has also contributed artwork to albums like both Cairn and Yodh: Live at Roadburn 2018 by Mizmor, As the Kingdom Drowns by Psycroptic, Ash in Realms of Stone Icons by Tómarúm, Walk Beyond the Dark by Abigail Williams, …And I Return To Nothingness by Lorna Shore, and many more. Lewandowski and his phenomenally surreal artwork will be sorely missed.
"It was a beautiful life. It's time to say goodbye my friends! ❤️?? A certain era is end," said a post on Lewandowski's Instagram. "The last farewell will take place in the chapel at the funeral home in Górowo Ilaweckie, Poland, on July 20 at 11:00 a.m."
