KILLING JOKE Guitarist KEVIN "GEORDIE" WALKER Has Died

We wish Walker's friends and family all the best at this time.

Geordie KJ

Killing Joke guitarist Kevin "Geordie" Walker has died at 64 years old. Walker was a part of Killing Joke's original lineup in the late '70s and performed on every Killing Joke release, including their 2023 single "Full Spectrum Dominance." The news of Geordie's death comes from former Killing Joke drummer Martin Atkins, who wrote on Instagram "Geordie Walker has left the building."

Blabbermouth further reports that Walker's close friend Luca Signorelli has shared a similar sentiment, saying: "This morning I got a phone call, telling me that Kevin 'Geordie' Walker had died few hours ago in Prague, following a massive stroke last Friday … I don't remember even one moment Geordie was around that was awkward or boring. Geordie had a reputation for being abrasive and sometimes curt with people who tried to approach him, but the reality is that he didn't want to waste his time with people he didn't like. And 'like' or 'dislike' was for Geordie entirely a matter of instinct."

We wish Walker's friends and family all the best at this time.
