With Avenged Sevenfold gearing up to release new music this year, the band has some touring plans in the works, and there is a rumor as to who will be opening their tour.
ThePRP is reporting that Aveneged Sevenfold will hit the road with Deftones and Ghost this fall. PRP is usually on point with their tour rumors, so while I wouldn't go too crazy getting my hopes up, it seems like a good possibility this will happen, and what a bill this would be.
Avenged and Deftones surely have some crossover audience but for a band like Ghost, they are really going for it, and will most likely be playing to an entirely new crowd who has never heard them before. It will be interesting to see how Avenged Sevenfold fans, who typically skew younger would react to the theatrics of Ghost.
