We've compared Emmure to Limp Bizkit in the past, and frontman Frankie Palmeri even acknowledges the influence Fred Durst had on him. As much as Frankie and co. want to tour with the Biz, it doesn't look like Fred Durst wants to tour the US anytime soon. So, Emmure went looking elsewhere and they're going full-on 2K12 Nu Metal. The band just announced they will be direct support for Static X on an upcoming national tour, which will also feature Ill Niño (a band name which always reminds me of this SNL sketch).
