2015 is looking to be a solid year for High on Fire! The group announced they'll be hitting up GodCity Studios with Converge's Kurt Ballou in January to begin recording their new album. No release date is set, but we can assume it will be released next year via eOne Music.
Considering the last we've heard from the group in terms of a full length was 2012's De Vermis Mysteriis, this is great news! Not that we're ever going to turn down new High on Fire. Before studio time, the band will be embarking on the following dates with Windhand to maybe try out some new material (or jam on the classics). Those dates are:
01/06 Birmingham, AL – Zydeco
01/07 Columbia, SC – New Brookland Tavern
01/08 Richmond, VA – The Broadberry
01/09 Brooklyn, NY – Saint Vitus
01/10 Hartford, CT – Webster Underground
Also a few more without Windhand:
01/11 Portland, ME – Port City Music Hall
01/13 Poughkeepsie, NY – The Loft at The Chance Theatre
01/14 Providence, RI – Simon’s 677
