Tour rumors come and go but this one will soon be proven as fact!
Recently, a date in El Paso, TX popped up on November 3rd at the Socorro Entertainment Center listing Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage and Testament. The story was picked up by ThePRP who also confirmed that Huntress will be on the bill.
I was able to independently confirm that this will in fact be a nationwide tour, hitting major markets with all four bands on board. Lamb of God and Killswitch have a long history together, having come up at about the same time, most memorably touring on the Headbangers Ball tour in 2003 with Shadows Fall and God Forbid. Wow, it's crazy to think that tour happened 10 years ago!
Anyway, I'm really excited to get out to this show as this is as stacked a bill as it gets. And whomever is Huntress' booking agent deserves a raise for all the ridiculous tours they are getting for the band, between this tour, Mayhem Fest and the Danzig shows, Huntress is getting out there in front of a lot of people. But will it pay off?
Update: Alex Skolnick has decided to address the rumors:
To all those asking about tour rumors: Yes, @Testament will be supporting Olivia Newton John for a tour this Fall – The Dark Roots Of Xanadu
