There has been a lot of news from the Opeth camp lately. Most recently, we learned that their album is coming out in September, and we got a peak at their trippy new cover. Naturally, when a new album comes out, a band is expected to tour, and Opeth will do just that this Fall, with their friends in Katatonia providing direct support. The first thing I thought when I saw this was "Why don't they have Bloodbath open the shows? How crazy would that be?" Bloodbath is of course, the death metal side project whose members consist exclusively of Opeth and Katatonia members. I can dream can't I? Anyway, here is the first round of scheduled dates:
