In the wake of other cancellations for Maryland Deathfest, Kansas-based death metallers ORIGIN have cancelled their previously announced appearance at this year's Maryland Deathfest, set to take place May 26-27 at the Sonar in Baltimore, MD. According to festival organizers, "[ORIGIN has] been confirmed for 5-6 months, but sent their agent an e-mail that says 'After our last tour, we have to cancel MDF because we can't take more time off work.'" MISERY INDEX will be replacing ORIGIN.
The Maryland Deathfest will be taking place May 26th and 27th at the Sonar in Baltimore, MD. Other bands scheduled to appear on the bill are BRUTAL TRUTH, ZYKLON, EXTREME NOISE TERROR, MALEVOLENT CREATION, VOMITORY, DEAD INFECTION, GHOUL, GUT, REGURGITATE, GOREROTTED, BIRDFLESH, GOROD, ODIOUS MORTEM, ROTTEN SOUND, RETALIATION, and SKITSYSTEM.
