The rumors were true! Trivium and Bullet For My Valentine will hit the road next year to celebrate their 2005 albums Ascendancy and The Poison. According to both bands during a livestream event, the tour will hit venues around the world and will find Trivium and Bullet For My Valentine performing their classic albums in full every single night.
"We've never done a single show live where we've played a full record of ours," said Trivium vocalist Matt Heafy. "We've done little features, we've done livestreams when people weren't able to tour, so the fact that both Bullet's doing The Poison and Trivium's doing The Ascendancy is monumental."
"I honestly can't believe it's been 20 years since the release of The Poison, and what an incredible 20 years it's been", says Bullet For My Valentine frontman Matt Tuck. "I feel so proud of what we've achieved as a band in the last two decades and it all started with that debut album.
"The Poison is such an important part of our lives musically and personally and we know the massive impact it had on the metal world on a global level. This tour will be made even more special as our brothers in Trivium are also joining us on the road to celebrate and play in its entirety their stunning album Ascendancy."
As for the tour itself, Tuck added: "This is going to be the metal tour of 2025" So far only the UK tour dates have been posted, which you can find below.
