When you're a musician at the level of Zakk Wylde, you could do pretty much whatever you want… like, say, create your own line of guitars and amps. And when you decide to go out on tour, you can call the shots. No more 40 straight days of touring for the berserker. Wylde has announced a string of 12 Black Label Society dates all throughout the country through the month of April, and he's taking Wino with him.
As part of the "Unblackened" tour, Wylde will be performing intimate versions of BLS and solo material at these dates. Wylde commented:
“I always wanted to take Unblackened on the road, we just didn’t have the time until now. You can take a song that you’ve played thousands of times and rearrange it, and all of a sudden it’s something totally fresh. The attitude of the songs doesn’t change when we play them acoustically–the tunes are gritty regardless.”
