Four years later and a whole slew of insanity behind them, Behemoth gear up for their next album. Are you ready?
The dudes over at Hertz Recording Studio's website have posted a few pictures of Behemoth setting up drums to begin tracking their new album, which means that everyone can rev up their excitebikes once more!
I really hope there's a song on there about the Polish trying him in a court of law about ripping up that Bible, but writing songs directly about people doesn't seem to be their game; it's all mythology and generally evil stuff, which is awesome. Oh, and then there's the whole "Nergal has cancer" thing. That was pretty damn worrisome even beyond Negal being in a huge band, and down to the basic human level of "someone we like has cancer," though he seems to be doing quite well… or well enough to be acting as a nazi. One thing we don't know is who is producing the new album. Ross Robinson was rumored to be behind the board, but that hasn't been confirmed.
New Behemoth will be out next month. Not really, but I can dream! Without hearing a lick of even the demos of the album, I'm willing to bet it'll be the heaviest thing out this year. maybe we'll even get to jam some of it when they tour with the Mayhem Fest? We'll keep you posted on all that, mainly because we're just as excited as you.
