Look, if you ever played Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3, then you know that the riff to "96 Quite Bitter Beings" by CKY is permanently stuck in your head for the rest of your life. Not to belittle the band's discography outside that – it's all pretty damn solid. All that being said, the band's last record was in 2009, founding vocalist Deron Miller quit, and bassist/vocalist Matt Deis quit in 2010 (and then rejoined recently).
All that being said, it's time for some new CKY. The band currently consists of Deis, founding riffmaster and vocalist Chad I. Ginsburg, and drummer Jess Margera, who as a trio are tracking at the Rancho De La Luna Studio (Queens of the Stone Age, Kyuss, etc.). It's the first album without Miller behind the microphone, so it'll be interesting to say the least. Here's the photo the band posted:
