It's finally happening! Dark Funeral, after six years, will be releasing a new album entitled Where Shadows Forever Reign via Century Media on June 3. The album artwork looks a whole lot like the band's influential 1996 record The Secrets of the Black Arts' cover art (reference), so I'm taking that to be a good thing!
This will be the first Dark Funeral record to feature Natt on bass and Heljarmadr on vocals, though really, who's worried it'll be anything less than ridiculously fast and all types of dark?
I guess we'll hear new music from the group relatively soon, though in the meantime you can check out the one track the band dropped in 2014. No word on if that'll be featured on the new disc or not.
