These guys do not mess around. While the status of their "lost" album, Eros, is still in question, the band have been busy writing new material. This would be the official follow up to 2012's Koi No Yokan. Guitarist Stephen Carpenter was at the NAMM show over the weekend and offered this update while being interviewed by MusicStoreLive.com:
"We are actually writing a new record… We're supposed to be going in to record it next month, but we're taking it as it goes. I mean, we're not all the way ready now, but we've still got time and we're working on it."
So I would assume this means the band is rather far along in the process of recording their new album, and there would be a chance we hear new music by the end of the year. While I won't hold my breath, I will certainly keep my hopes up!
