Despised Icon is working on their seventh overall album, and first since Purgatory in 2019. Despised Icon mentioned the new album in a post noting their 20th anniversary as a band, and noted they have two (currently unannounced) tours coming up as well.
"This month marks the 20th anniversary of Despised Icon. We've been in this band for half of our lives and are eternally grateful for the support you've given us over the years. We currently have 2 tours in the works and have written over 10 new songs that we aim to record by the end of the year."
