Like 'em or not, Discharge has been pivotal in the genesis of hardcore punk and even grindcore. Hell, the "D-beat" is named after a beat that the band (alongside a few others at the time) made famous! Despite putting out four albums between 1981 and 1991, the band has only released four albums since the latter.
It only took since 2008, but the band is coming out with a new record! End Of Days will be out on April 29 via Nuclear Blast and will be the first to feature former drummer Terence "Tezz" Roberts on guitar and Jeff "J.J." Janiak on vocals (who was never in the band before).
It'll be interesting to see the reaction for this as well, considering some people have liked the band's entire career and some are absolutely, irrevocably stuck on the band's classic Hear Nothing See, Nothing Say Nothing from 1982, which is admittedly amazing.
