Rammstein appear to be making good on their promise to work on new music in quarantine. Fan site Rammstein World reports the band is currently at renowned French recording studio La Fabrique in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, France.
"There's no longer any doubt: Rammstein are back at La Fabrique studios, where they recorded their latest album!" said the fan site. "Some members and engineers of the band have been spotted in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, where the studio is located. Other people usually present in the studio with the band posted about their trip to France on social networks."
Drummer Christoph Schneider revealed back in June that the band was working on new music in quarantine. Speaking to the Rodeo Radio podcast, Schneider said "We still have so many ideas lying around, so many unfinished songs. We have met and we are working on new songs. We want to work on songs. But whether or not it will turn into an album, nobody knows yet."
Perhaps those ideas sprung out into enough material for a release, for which the band is working on. They have plenty of time to be in the studio and their rescheduled tour dates aren't until next year. Rammstein released their self-titled seventh studio album only last year, so this will be a quick turn around for the band, since their previous release was ten years prior.
Rammstein recently announced their rescheduled tour dates for North America.
