After the passing of their drummer Joey LaCaze it wasn't entirely clear what the future held for Eyehategod. The band promised to soilder on, saying Joey would never want them to quit playing. The band have been working on a new record for a while now. A new record that is apparently all finished up, according to a quote snagged by The PRP.

Could "Savage Mutilation of the Human Race" be the title of the new album? They're not entirely clear but that's what it sounds like! Also we don't have a release date… or anything. This will be the band's first full-length release since 2000 when they dropped Confederacy of Ruined Lives.
If the band's 2012 single "New Orleans is the New Vietnam" was any indication, this album will crush.
