I find it really weird how people involved in music production, and even movie production, will leak their art onto the Internet, and basically, screw themselves. But people do it, and they do it a lot. Someone leaked a shit quality version of Lamb of God's upcoming Resolution. The President of the Livecast, and Lamb of God frontman, Randy Blythe shared his thoughts of the premature leak via his Twitter:
Stoked that the leak of "Resolution" is SHIT. Just one reason I actually BUY records. Those that dont wait don't get the FULL experience ha!
I mean think about it- I bought Slayer's "Reign In Blood" THE DAY it came out. There was no leaking then- I blasted it FULL VOLUME & was like "HOLY FUCK!". The VERY FIRST TIME I heard "Angel of Death" it was BEYOND AWESOME. I'm so glad I wasn't robbed of that experience byhearing a crappy copy- it made a FUCKING IMPACT.
He does bring up a valid point. Having to wait is part of the whole music process. Or at least, it seemed like it was before Napster and the introduction of P2P. What do you think?
