Yes! Progressive metal is looking great this year!

It's time! Leprous has announced its new record titled The Congregation to be out on Jun. 2 via InsideOut Music! The album was recorded at Sweden's Fascination Street and Ghostward Studios with David Castillo (Katatonia, Opeth) and the vocals were tracked with Heidi Solberg Tveitan and Vegard Tveitan at Mnemosyne Studios in Norway, better known as Ihsahn and his wife. The album was also mixed by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Symphony X) at Fascination Street.

The artwork was done by French artist Nihil, which the band says "represents the album's dark theme very well by showing deformation and disturbance." So enjoy all that awesome, tasty information while we patiently wait for some new jams! Oh I am so excited! Especially considering 2013's Coal was a damn masterpiece.
