Liquid Tension Experiment has finally announced their long-awaited reunion album, LTE3. The album will be out on March 26 and will be their first new effort since LTE2 in 1999. As always, Liquid Tension Experiment is drummer Mike Portnoy (Transatlantic, Sons of Apollo, ex-Dream Theater), guitarist John Petrucci (Dream Theater), keyboardist Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater), and bassist Tony Levin (King Crimson, Peter Gabriel).
"After over 20 years since the last time we recorded together, the four of us stepped into the studio and it was as if no time had passed at all!" said Petrucci. "All of the magic that made the first two LTE albums so special was still there and we had such a great time making this record. I’m extremely proud of what we created together and can’t wait for everyone to hear it!"
"The best thing to come out of 2020 was this long-awaited reunion!" added Portnoy. "And it was surely worth the wait as after all these years, the magic chemistry was still there and stronger than ever!"
