It's ben eight years since Rammstein's last album, 2009's Liebe ist für alle da, but according to guitarist Richard Kruspe, that streak of no new albums should be coming to an end soonish. In the interview below, Kruspe says that Rammstein has about 35 new songs written, and that he's really not sure when the album will be coming out.
He doesn't elaborate on if the band is still writing, if it's been in the studio or what, but hey – we've waited this long. What's another year or so? Though new Rammstein would be great. In the meantime, you can catch 'em in the United States this summer, and maybe you'll hear a new song or two?
