Back in August, we reported that Death Ray Vision, the band which features Shadows Fall frontman Brian Fair, Killswitch Engage bassist Mike D'Antonio, Seemless guitarist Peter Cortese, drummer Colin Conway and guitarist Zach Wells have been demoing material and now have a new label. The band announced today that they have signed with Bullet Tooth Records, the label founded by Josh Grabelle, former owner of Trustkill Records.
While the band is currently recording the full-length, they said even though they are currently busy with their main projects, they are open to touring. Metal Insider has an in-depth interview with the band and Grabelle, where bassist Mike D'Antonio hints that when they play live, they might pull out an Overcast cover or two, since Death Ray features 3 members from Overcast, a project which featured D'Antonio, Fair and Cortese.
Overall, I'm excited to hear what these guys come up with. D'Antonio and Fair will have plenty of time to brainstorm ideas when their main projects are touring together this winter.
