Solution .45 has been a bit of an elusive beast for the past few years. We've been given a few juicy updates regarding new music ever since the group's 2010 debut For Aeons Past, but by and large we've not really known what's been going on. Up until yesterday at least, when the group took to Facebook to post what amounts to an announcement regarding the fact that the new double album is being mixed!

Fuck yes! I have no doubt in my mind that this new album will be amazing, especially considering it's double the Solution .45! So how am I so sure it'll be out this year? Again, another announcement on the band's Facebook a little bit earlier in May.
I thought one could explain a bit why this has taken so long since many have been wondering.
Firstly. We live quite far apart from each other which means that anything we'll do will take some extra time and needs major planning skills.
Keep in mind that we started out making one album which developed into an idea of making two separate ones which still would be recorded as one giant session. That pushed the first deadline and needed new negotiations with our label.
Then life happened. Patrik and his wife got pregnant, then later on I and my wife got pregnant. The birth of our new borns brings new stuff to the table. On top of that a couple of funerals. These are just things you can't plan. Life happens you know.In the midst of all this we have been working hard on making the best albums we possibly could make.
So regardless of all this the mix is finally just about to begin and you'll have part I in your hands very soon. A bonus you'll have two cd's in a not so distant future. Pretty awesome.

Another comment by the band in response to a fan says the record(s) should be out after the summer or early fall sometime. So it's official- after five years of waiting for some sweet-ass Solution .45 jams to enter our ears, 2015 is the year! Only a few more months to go and then it's time…
