The Sword released High Country in 2015, which turned out to be a pretty solid rock album. It took a little bit less of a Sleep-heavy stoner jam turn than previous efforts and incorporated a lot more rock elements, much to the benefit of the final product.
Now the band will be releasing Low Country, an acoustic rendition of the High Country album, on September 23 via Razor & Tie. The Sword took to Facebook to announce that despite the album, their upcoming shows with Opeth will not be acoustic.
